It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Puranmal Lahoti Government Institute of Engineering & Technology (PLGIET), Latur, formerly known as Puranmal Lahoti Government Polytechnic, Latur. Established in 1956, our institution has a rich legacy of shaping aspiring engineers and technologists through quality technical education, innovation, and holistic development.

Located in the heart of Latur, PLGIET is committed to creating technically skilled, innovative, industry-ready, and socially responsible engineers. With the support of dedicated faculty, well-equipped laboratories, advanced workshops, modern digital learning resources, and a student-centric environment, we provide a strong platform for academic growth and skill development.

The institute offers undergraduate programmes in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS), and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ENTC), along with diploma programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.

NBA Accreditation: Out of the six diploma programmes offered by the institute, four programmes — Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering — have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

In today’s rapidly evolving technological environment, emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, Communication, Computer Engineering, and other advanced technologies are transforming the way we live and work.
